Papers to release album via YouTube
Posted on September 23, 2019 by Mitch Andrews
The Italian bubblegum dance project Papers today released a medley track on YouTube of their upcoming album release, rumoured to be titled "Rewrote."
The group is known for their 1999 single "The Little Red Cap," featuring nonsensical and funny lyrics and a vocalist comparable to Jenny Rom. Little Red Cap was thought to be Papers only release, until one year ago when the YouTube account "Papers - Rewrote" was created and a new song, "Cinderella," was uploaded. Only when fans began asking questions about the existence of other Papers songs in the comments section did Papers respond with details about upcoming "releases" on their YouTube channel.
According to Papers, the next song to be released will be "Come Boy (Shooter)," although no date has been slated for the release yet. A short preview can be heard in the medley along with 11 other songs, including Little Red Cap. Each song is traditional bubblegum dance in style, similar to Little Red Cap, and it's clear that the album will follow a Fairytale theme.
The release will be copyright and published under licensing from Baby Records International. Be sure to subscribe to Papers official YouTube channel to ensure you hear the new songs as soon as they are released!
