Mr Superfly
Mr Superfly was a bubblegum dance project from Europe targetted at children. The project is centred around a cartoon/animated fly with superhero powers. In 2008, Mr Superfly released their self titled single Mr Superfly.
No follow up singles have been released by Mr Superfly, however a follow up single "Fly To The Sky" was planned for late 2009 but never happened.

Hi, My name is Ryan and I’m a fly! Yup, that’s right I’m just your ordinary, bog standard, straight up kinda fly…
...well almost, because I have an itty bitty secret to tell you!
So let me tell you a little about myself. Currently I’m working in Air Traffic Control making sure Fly Space runs smoothly, but for me to tell you my secret I’m going to have to take you back a little further.
So it all started back at Charing Fly Hospital in Little London where my rock of a mother Betty Blue bought me and all 53 of my brothers and sisters into this world. OK, she wasn’t a ‘rock’ quite literally, she was a beautiful bubbly Blue Bottle, and she’s been there for me throughout my life. And my father, well, let’s just say I never met him, but perhaps one day that will all change.
I grew up like any normal fly, worked my wings off at school, got decent grades and then decided to head off to University. Nothing out the ordinary so far, that was until I got into the University of Aeroflytics!!
A few days into the beginning of term, I was attending the practical lesson of ‘Separation Minima’, you know, it’s how we prevent all flying insects from collisions. Unfortunately for me it was the same day that the chemistry lab were showing students the dangers of fly spray. Anyhow, I was nominated to take part in a demonstration when suddenly it all went horribly wrong.
A freak gust of wind took me right off course and I ended up head first through the chemistry lab window, smashing into the sealed enclosure housing the deadly ‘Von Trappe’ Fly Spray. I think I only got a whiff of the spray before the safety systems extractor fans kicked in to clear the room, but that was enough to knock me unconscious for what felt like a lifetime! Months later I finally came out of my deep sleep, but now I felt completely different, in a good way of course! I had more energy, more strength, more buzz, more everything, but I couldn’t explain it and nor could the Doctor Flies whose care I was under.
I didn’t realise the full extent of my newfound abilities until I took a vacation to Buzzney Land theme park, in Little Paris. I was out enjoying the rollercoaster’s and beautiful weather when suddenly out of nowhere, the notorious ‘Von Trapp’ and his Trapoid Army cast a dark shadow in the skies above to ruin everyone’s day. His evil Venus Fly Trapping ways were intent on making thousands of insects miserable, but on this day he’d finally met his match.
HE’D MET ME!!
All of a sudden I had a huge rush of adrenaline and before I could say ‘Doggy Doo Doo’ I was in the air ready to protect my fellow insects. I flew straight into the jaws of Von Trapp, and continued to fly as hard and fast as flymanly possible, taking the trapoids out like a huge bowling ball game, STRIKE!!! Then using my newfound super strength I prised open Von Trapp’s jaws and did one almighty shove sending Von Trapp miles into the sky and saving the day for all those at Buzzney Land Theme Park.
From that day on I have been labelled a superhero, so if you have an emergency then sound the alarm, and within a flash I’ll be in my SuperSuit ready to save the day. No matter what it takes, you can rest assured that my Super Strength and Super Speed will make me the Superhero to outshine all others.
And you’re probably wondering what to call me, well my friend, you can call me MR SUPERFLY!!
