Millane Fernandez is an Indonesian-born singer from Germany, best known for her 2001 single ''I Miss You (Dubi Dam Dam).'' Millane had several single releases over the course of her career, and also represented Germany in 2001 Eurovision Grand Prix contest. However, no albums have been released.
Two bubblegum dance singles were released in 2001, "Boom Boom" and "Dubi Dam Dam" before Millane moved away from the bubblegum genre in 2004 and onwards.
Biography
Millane was born in Jakarta, Indonesia on 23rd July 1986, and is the younger sister of Nino Fernandez who was a finalist on VJ Hunt 2006. She is also an actress and one of the films she starred in was called "Tunnel Casablanca."
In 1998 Millane and her family moved to Germany where she entered the German music industry as a singer. Three singles were released by Millane, two of them bubblegum dance, and Millane also represented Germany in the Eurovision Grand Prix contest in 2001, a European-scale music contest.
In 2006, Millane decided to return to Indonesia following the return of her brother, Nino. In Indonesia, Millane participated in MTV VJ hunt 2007, which she had also participated in in 2006 and was one of the reasons she decided to move back. Millane went on to release several singles under the new label Aquarius Musikindo and in 2014 was selected as one of the experts in the Rising Star Indonesia talent show.
