My3
My3 were a Polish spin-off of the Belgian group K3, consisting of members Julia "Julka" Trojanowska, Natalia "Natka" Klewicz and Karolina "Gefi" Gefert. Unlike other K3 spin-off groups, My3 did not record any translations of K3 songs. Instead, their discography consists of original songs, as well as covers of famous Polish songs, both traditional songs and modern pop music.
My3 were originally proposed in 2017 as a joint project between Studio 100, the Belgian producers of K3, and Tako Media, a Polish production agency. While international versions of My3 had been attempted before, these groups never met success with their translations of K3 songs. Therefore, a new approach was taken for the music of My3. My3 would have its own lineup of songs, crafted to specifically appeal to the modern tastes of Polish children. Auditions for the group were held from January to June 2017, with three girls known as Julka, Natka, and Gefi being chosen as the official lineup. The group was revealed to the public that October, with the release of their first single, "Mammaje". The girls found quick success in Poland, reaching one million views on the music video for "Mammaje" within seven months of its uploading. The video also entered the top 20 for most viewed music videos on the video platform Vevo.
From 2017 to 2019, the girls released singles and albums at a quick pace, with their fourth album releasing in 2019. Along with releasing music, My3 hosted a talk show called My3 on Polsat TV, where they would teach children lessons about subjects such as self-confidence, health, art, and science, as well as perform their music. They also had a heavy presence on YouTube, posting exclusive interviews, skits, songs, and other material.
Despite their success, on February 5, 2020, My5 abruptly announced that they would be embarking on a farewell tour before ceasing activities on May 1. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, however, this tour was postponed. At present, the tour is scheduled to begin on September 1, with the group officially disbanding on October 1, 2020.
