Die Lollipops
Die Lollipops is the name of a children's bubblegum dance project from Germany. The project often rotated members, usually with a two or three-member lineup, so that their members were always young girls between the ages of 11 and 16.
Die Lollipops was produced by Peter Hoffmann, with their earlier songs composed by Klaus Büchner. Their discography consists of covers of traditional children's songs, covers of pop hits (sometimes with the lyrics rewritten), and original material. During their years active they released albums at a rapid rate, with approximately two albums per year. On top of this, they also released audiobooks, videos of live performances, and compilation albums of their favourite chart hits on a regular basis.
Known lineups include:
2003 - 2005: Joanna Strand and Ronja Hilbig
2005 - 2007: Maria and Malke
2007 - 2010: Susi and Fiona
Die Lollipops have not had any new releases since 2010 and their website has been taken down, implying the project has likely been abandoned.
