TWOin1 (Two In 1) is a bubblegum dance duo from Germany, consisting of members Andii and Toni. In 2001 they released their first and only single "I Want You To Want Me." No follow up releases were made by Two In 1 and the project was abandoned around 2002.

Up until now, musical representatives from the far north were considered to be the guarantee of hits for pop-melodic dance floor pearls. Whether A-Teens or Aqua - hardly any other European folk knew how to combine catchy lyrics and driving beats with lively sing-along choruses.
This is going to change:
With "TWO in 1" a dynamic dancefloor duo from Germany is starting, which will take the charts by storm, with the aim: As "TWO in 1", singer Toni and her colleague Andii want to transform the world into a large dance floor.
Behind the band name "TWO in 1" are:
"Andii" (born: October 23, 1982) and "Toni" (born: March 9, 1982) from Berlin.
When it's not about music, Toni prefers to meet up with friends to chat, shop or go to the cinema. Love films, preferably with Julia Roberts, are among her favorites. But the most important thing is Toni "have fun and be funny!". And there, too, she agrees with Andii, who is always in a good mood. In his spare time, Andii discovered the mix of martial arts and aerobics, the taebo, for himself.
Once a Taebo trainer himself, he reveals that "daily sit-ups, adequate sleep, no alcohol and no drugs" are the best fitness tips. Of course, his dream girl should also have a sporty figure. "It has to be sexy and funny!" He says. But honesty and the ability to listen well are also important to him! His friends appreciate him for that too.
"Andii is really nice and funny, he's a great buddy!" Enthuses Toni. "And of course he has a great voice." "We see ourselves as two musicians who form a unit. We have the same dreams and goals. Music is the most important thing in our life," says Toni.
Andii adds: "Once you have heard it, our song is fine, "I don't want you to want me out of my head."
Not only the first song "I want you to want me" also in the second song of the maxi CD, with "Close Your Eyes", the Boy & Girl Act presents its musical range. Our music combines elements from trance and pop. That's what I like best about it, says Andii. With both power songs, "TWO in 1" show what they're made of!
In fact, even before their debut single was released, "TWO in 1" are Germany's best known and most successful (!) Girl-boy acts, a niche that has not been occupied in the music business in Germany for a long time, but has now been taken again with "TWO in 1"!
But Andii and Toni have worked hard for this previous success. Because despite their young age, the two Berliners can already look back on a large number of appearances: whether at the German Film Prize, the Popkomm-Ringfest, many radio open air shows or top-class TV shows, "TWO in 1" was always able to perform with their singing and dancing skills to convince.
On November 19, 2001, the long-awaited "TWO in 1" debut single "I want you to want me" will be released and with this, the slogan for "TWO in 1" will be: Two musicians - one unit or two teenagers - one Dream of this reality and thus come true!
Passion Fruit similarities
Two In 1's debut single was written by Hartmut Krech and produced by Elephant Music, who also wrote and produced Passion Fruit's debut album in 2000. The style of the song, including the vocals themselves, is very similar to Passion Fruit, and considering that the release came around the time of the tragic death of two of Passion Fruit's members in a plane crash, it wouldn't be surprising if "I Want You To Want Me" was originally intended as a Passion Fruit single. Of course, this is just a rumour and has not been confirmed as truth.
