Official biography
The following biography was lifted from Cheyenne's official Website. Please note the original text was in Dutch and has been translated by Google, and then edited by Bubblegum Dancer for grammar.
When she was five years old, Cheyenne started playing classical ballet. After three years she also wanted to play jazz ballet. She also did salsa dancing with Ziko. She liked that very much, but Ziko left her standing in front of a closed door without ringing, because then he suddenly had a performance. She quickly stopped doing that: those are not manners as a dance school owner.
Cheyenne was already in a musical class at the time, and with that played in the musicals Pinnochio and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in the theater of Arnhem. The music class teacher then stopped her and said that Cheyenne has real talent. She recommended that we take her on private singing lessons. We did, and she got better and better. Cheyenne is crazy about singing, so this was all for her. She was asked to sing at openings and performances. She also participated in the Children for Children Song Contest; she finished third in Gelderland. The jury's comment was that she had a hell of a voice, but needed to work more on her presentation.
Cheyenne always listens carefully to commentary and works on it immediately.
After this she participated in various talent shows. Once she came first with the song of Pohacontas, which she sang in front of a hall of 700 people. Some people thought it was so beautiful that they cried. Cheyenne had just finished Annie's auditions, and people came to her after the performance and recognized her from The Audition. After hearing her sing, they were sure it was her.
Cheyenne had also auditioned for a professional school that allows talent to audition. If you get through that, you can follow a one-year training in dance and acting. Then you take the exam with an eight-day performance in a professional production, and if you successfully complete that year, you can take the further training.
But then she became Annie and had to choose. In the end she chose Annie, because she couldn't let that chance go. Unfortunately you have to audition for that school again, but when Annie comes to an end she wants to audition again.
