Pets
Pets was a Finnish Contemporary Bubblegum dance project created by producer Victor Drobych. The group consisted of two females, Pettina (Tina Häkämies) and Petzini (Sini Laisma). They are best known for their single "Run Baby Run", and its accompanying music video.
Brief Biography
Pets was created in the late 1990s by Finnish producer Victor Drobych. In 1999 Pets released the single "Can We Talk", closely followed by the double single "Satunalle / Vaatteet Vähenee". The singles were released under the label Unirecords in Finland.
In 1999 they released their debut album "Da Di Dam". The album was quite popular in Finland, but was not exported to any other countries.
A music video was shot for the track called Run Baby Run, which was included as a bonus on the album. This video was famous for the fact that it proved to be one of the most expensive music video ever shot in Finland. They shot the video during 14 hours on nonstop, under the direction of Jussi Korpinen.
Background vocals were performed by Saga, Lady M and Heidi.
The group ceased all activity in 2001.
